David Ellzey and The Sedona Method®

What is The Sedona Method?
It is a series of short questions of self-inqiry that, when answered, reveal the underlying universal roots of all human feelings. It then shows how to let go at that root level and reveals the unlimited sense of our true nature and of life itself. Using this technique, habitual feelings begin to disappear and if feelings do arise,  they will no longer control your happiness, sense of well being, or your courage to take actions to create a more fulfilling life.

Who can benefit best from The Sedona Method?
This will greatly serve any person who has emotions like anxiety, stress, grief, anger, procrastination, or other feelings that get in the way of living a more loving, happy, and successful life. It can often improve relationships, self-image, health, finances, and one’s overall sense of well being. When you are truly ready for your life, both outwardly and inwardly, to transform with a sense of well being, this technique has its greatest impact.

Who created The Sedona Method?
Scientist and engineer, Lester Levenson, lived in New York City. He had a successful career, but after two heart attacks and other illnesses he was given two months to live. Upon inward reflection, he found many stored emotions from childhood. Through a form of self-inquiry and learning the healing power of love, he discovered how to release the feelings which revealed a profound understanding of his unlimited nature. His body healed and he lived with a constant state of unshakeable peace for 42 more years.

Is the weekend dramatic and do I need to deeply re-experience my feelings to benefit from this technique?
On the contrary. Although subtle or deep-seated feelings may arise to be released, this technique does not require that you relive an experience from the past or magnify your feelings to find freedom from them. The essential quality of this technique is the skill of letting go. Insight that people often feel they get from their feelings is actually the insight of the deeper soul which had been covered by the feelings. Thus, as we let go of feelings we uncover our deeper wisdom and dont need emotional suffering to point to what we already know deeply.

What is the schedule of a Sedona Method Basic Course weekend?
9:30am-6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

OVERVIEW: This is not like a school class based on lecture. It is an experiential and transformative weekend where you get to know who you are in profoundly new and empowering ways. You can participate at any level that is comfortable for you.
Saturday there is minimal lecture presenting the principles of letting go, but mostly the day is for your experiential learning of the foundational skill of releasing.  You can expect partnering, discussion, journaling, personal reflection and one-one-one work with the instructor. We focus on your inner learning, rather than lecture.
Sunday you focus on your own life and how this skill can be integrated in your daily living. You set goals for what would bring you joy in your life and we then use the skill to dissolve all emotions and beliefs that stand between you and having what you desire.
